The Challenge
This project was a multimedia showroom for the sales center of a new real estate development at Luhai International Center in Chongqing, China. In the early phase, I collaborated closely with the strategy team to produce presentation diagrams and visual sketches, translating concepts into clear visuals to support proposals and communication. During production, I delivered keyframe-style references and visual guidelines to maintain consistency across video content and designed a digital brochure to accompany the interactive electronic sand table presentation. In the final stage, I joined the onsite team for demo calibration and system testing and documented the installation through photography to ensure a smooth, polished delivery.
Video Keyframe Design
Description
Recreating the keyframe for the third hall was my favorite challenge in this project. To capture the character of Chongqing—a mountain city shaped by layered hills and winding roads—I developed this visual language based on the city’s distinctive landscape. I introduced a fog-like haze to soften the lower edge of each layer, allowing the forms to stack naturally and create depth. This approach also references Chongqing’s reputation as one of the world’s well-known “fog capitals.”
Video Keyframe Design 2
Description
This set of keyframes visualizes the lifestyle experiences people can enjoy within the development’s commercial spaces—from immersive entertainment (FUN/潮玩) to cityscape ambience and social moments (SCENERY/景致) to dining and gathering (FOOD/美食). Each frame is built around bold, cinematic imagery, paired with circular “viewfinder” windows and motion-inspired UI overlays, as if the audience is navigating an interactive map of everyday life. Consistent typography and bilingual keywords strengthen clarity and recognition, while high-contrast color blocks and layered graphic elements create a contemporary, tech-forward tone. Together, the system keeps diverse scenes visually cohesive and reinforces the idea that the commercial zone supports a rich, multi-dimensional lifestyle.
Digital Brochure of Project
The dark-blue set (33 screens) focuses on Yuzhong District, presenting its strengths across economy, culture, history, and geography. It serves as a visual narrative that supports the upcoming Luhai International Center exhibition, highlighting the district’s current vitality and long-term growth potential. I developed the visual style and image direction based on the client-provided copy and overall brand aesthetic.
The light-blue set (10 screens) introduces Luhai International Center through key dimensions such as location, transportation, economy, and surrounding context. It also includes an interactive sequence designed to pair with the electronic sand-table demonstration, guiding viewers through the project in a clear, engaging flow.
Final Installation Documentation
Description
During the on-site commissioning and final acceptance phase, I documented the installation and live demonstrations through photography. The images capture the screens in context, audience interaction, and the overall spatial atmosphere—providing a clear visual record of how the design performed in the real environment and supporting post-delivery review and project archiving.
I designed the UI for the showroom’s central control system, enabling staff to switch seamlessly between different demonstration programs and content scenarios. The interface also supported unified management of on-site devices—such as LED screens, interactive systems, and related hardware—helping ensure smooth operation during live presentations.
